Team-building exercises come in many different forms. You might find yourself building a bridge from barrels and planks, for example. Or you may even find yourself attempting to carry one of your party on a large piece of wood. What you probably won’t find at most venues is a comfortable, luxurious yurt to spend the night in.

Surry Hills Yurts – as you might have guessed from the name – has this and much, much more. If you like the sound of a bucolic, unique getaway for your team only an hour from the heart of London, the chances are you’ll love what we’ve got to offer.

Archery, Yoga and Weaving

At Surrey Hills Yurts, we like to offer something a little different. We pride ourselves on providing a relaxing, engaging and varied experience that covers everything from outdoor cooking to archery. We’re available for exclusive hire and can cater for 30 – 50 adults at any one time, so you can bring the whole team!

We have a broad range of rural crafts and activities on offer, including willow weaving, archery workshops, archery tag, foraging, walking on fire/glass, guided walks of the beautiful Surrey Hills, guided mountain biking and yoga retreats, and that’s just the start. We also offer art classes, cocktail-making classes, outdoor cooking experiences and the chance to take a ride on our heavy horse and cart. We like to think we combine the best of country living and team-building activities, creating a bonding experience for all.

We like to create an environment that fosters creativity and helps people bond. We find the best way to do this is to immerse our visitors in a range of activities, taking inspiration from beautiful, serene surroundings to create something unlike any other getaway.

At Day’s End

After a day of immersing yourself in activities and group bonding, it’s time for our unique, locally sourced hospitality to come into play.

We work with a local artisan catering company to provide amazing food, with impeccable levels of service and presentation. We also offer a tasting session for locally-produced wine, gin, beer and cheese, so you can sample the real tastes of the Surrey countryside. If that’s not enough to sate your appetite, we also have a cocktail-making class, where you can learn the secrets of mixology. Or just use the experience to enjoy a range of different concoctions after a long day – the choice is yours!

After a day of foraging, archery, weaving and walking, you can retire to your luxury yurt. Sleeping either four or six people, all of our yurts come with the comforts and amenities you need and there’s nothing quite so relaxing as sleeping in this most ancient of structures.
